What you’ll get out of it
You’ll get to be a part of the running of the core “business” activity of Three Rings! We’re a team of friendly volunteers who’re all former volunteers, who want to help other volunteers. By volunteering with us in the admin team, you’re helping us support 450+ organisations, like the Samaritans, Childline and Nightlines, do their thing, without worrying about providing their own volunteering solution, or paying commercial rates for it.
There are a variety of different things to do in the administration support team, and so there’s a few different things you can try your hand at. We’re always happy to give references, if you’re applying for jobs, too.
Last but not least, you’ll get the chance to meet the wider Three Rings volunteer community! We have a Slack group, where we all chat, and have regular optional Sunday night slack socials. We also have an annual Christmas party (with +1 invitations), and we invite all volunteers to the annual AGM too.

What the role involves
As a Community Investment Company (Three Rings CIC), we are the charitable version of a full company. With that goes all the company administration, communication, marketing, invoicing, financial control, strategy development, human resources and development , etc that you’d expect to find in any good organisation!
We’re currently looking for people to help out with all of these and share the load. We also have some special specific projects arising room time to time, that need specialist skills or knowledge. Please get in touch for more information – we’d love to hear from you!

The support and training you get would depend on the tasks that you choose to do. We have a training budget, to help you get any training you might need to undertake your role, or grow in it.
